'What looks good on a Rizzla?'

This week I decided to put my Kleptomania to good use and actually do something with the things I pick up.In the time I have been at Uni I have picked up a bike wheel, a pack of Rizzla's, a used box of matches with used matches inside it (bonus!), a dead moth I found on the stair well,a thing that looked like a CD but it wasn't (I'm still not sure what it is but here with me it sits and a shiny screw.

ct, which there will be pictures off soon, and I have drawn the moth several times. I have used the Rizzla's to draw on which my drawing teacher got every excited about.

Small, smaller, smallest...

In art at university we have 3 2 hour workshops a week. One 2 hour drawing class on a friday where we practice methods of drawing such as looking at negative space, scale and tone. One bleak Friday morning we sat in the main square in the campus and drew what we could see.

This is an A3 charcoal and emulsion drawing of the end of a piece of string and a tiny postage stamp sized drawing of the same.

Here we are practicing scale and size.

This is a grafite and rubber drawing of the circuit board on the inside of a disposable camera. The actual one looks much better than this photo. Here we were trying to show texture.

Our Monday and Wednesday workshops change every 3 weeks.

The first one we did was looking at surface on paper that we could create using dry materials.

We then did a photography project working in groups and individually.

We are currently working on a sculpture project that will end a christmas.

This is the final piece in my photography project. It is suppose to show movement. I'm not all that skilled on photoshop.

I am looking at the marks people leave behind. Not in an environmental sen

se, non of that business, in the sen

se of old house that are empty, the writing behind the wallpaper the people before you left, the stains on the kitchen floor, the heights of their children up the side of the door frame, where the front steps have a grove in them from years of use or finger prints on the glass or walls. The things that other people left, secrets in a sense. On the right you should be able to see names and a mark next to them. With this I tryed to achi

ights you can see as the children get older the boy become taller then his sister.

This lower piece on the right is the final progression in a motif that shows aging floor boards.

also drew a picture of some string which I an quiet pleased with.

I have been at Lancaster university for a whole week now and enjoying it very very much!

Made some great new friends to.

Here I will be studying Fine art with art history as my major and philosophy as my minor. It is all very exciting. I am

loving living on my own much to my mothers disappointment and have not yet set anything on fire.

I am living in County college and what a college it is.

Going to Lancaster to study fine art and art history.

I shall hopefully have many more pictures to post of my work then.

Packed all my art equipment tonight and a bit of kitchen stuff.
